What to Expect

We gather for Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Come early if you like coffee and refreshments! Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30.

What are your services like?

Our worship services usually last about an hour and include hymns and modern songs, prayer, Bible reading, and a sermon from the pastor. The goal of our services is to glorify God and remind ourselves of the life-changing power of the gospel.

What about my children?

We love kids at Forreston Grove! If your children would like to stay with you in the sanctuary during the worship service, they’re welcome to do so. We also have a fully-staffed nursery available for children during both the Sunday School hour and the worship service. For nursing mothers and those with very young children, there’s also a private room off the sanctuary from which the service can be seen and heard.

What should I wear?

We have no dress code at Forreston Grove! You will likely see folks wearing a wide variety of clothing from jeans to dresses and suits. We believe that our hearts are what we bring to the Lord in worship, not our outward appearance, so please dress comfortably.

Will I be expected to give money during the service?

Absolutely not! We do provide an opportunity for our members to give as a part of their worship, but we do not ask or expect our visitors to contribute. We’re simply glad you’re here.

I have a few more questions.  How can I get more information?
